Section III:  Charlie C.:

       I WOULD LIKE TO THANK SECTION-1 FOR HOSTING THIS EVENT. A FEW THINGS TO REPORT;
THE MOST SIGNIFIGANT THING THAT I HAVE TO REPORT IS THAT SEVERAL BRIDGTON AREA
MEETING'S (APPROX.- 8- MEETING'S) WAN'T TO SPLIT FROM DISTRICT-14 TO HAVE THEIR OWN
DISTRICT. WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL DIST. MEETING'S ON THIS SUBJECT, WITH MIXED REATION.
I AM PUTTING THIS SITUATION INTO POLICY & CHARTER'S HANDS, AS WELL AS THE
REST OF THE PANEL, TO SEE THAT EVERYONE'S CONCERN'S ARE BEING MET.
I ALSO ATTENDED A FEW DISTRICT-14 MEETING'S (WITH ALL OF OUR PANEL MEMBER'S AT THE
LAST ONE, AS WELL AS POLICY & CHARTER). THANK YOU PANEL & COMMITTEE MEMBER'S FOR
SUPPORTING OUR GOAL'S AND NEED'S.

I ATTENDED DISTRICT-12'S DIST. MEETING ON
JULY 20TH 2004. WE DISCUSSED POSSIBLE WORKSHOP IDEA'S. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK RAY FOR
INVITING ME.

WE HAVE A NEW DCM FOR DISTRICT-13. I WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME CHRIS S. WHO WILL BE
TAKING OVER THIS POSITION.

District 12:  Ray S.:

We held a meeting Tuesday July 20th and discussed the possibility of holding a workshop.  We also discussed the idea of bringing together all the Districts in the Section to hold a Unity Dance with Speaker of some kind. We will discuss these further at the next District meeting.

          District Balance: $304.19

District 13:  Chris:

Due to outside responsibilities and commitments Dave M. will be stepping down as DCM.  As the new DCM I have some ideas in mind with the District meetings and trying to get to all the meetings I can.  With the help of my Higher Power this will happen.

District 13 in cooperation with District 14 & 21 will host the annual “Third Legacy Film Festival”.  If you ever wanted to do something special with your sponsees, this is it!  It’s a great event for food, fellowship and the learning of AA’s history.  It will be held Saturday October 30th, starting at 2:00 PM at Woodstown Presbyterian Church Hall.

District 14:  Michelle C.:

We have been planning our First Annual Picnic on Sunday, August 29th.  Flyers and tickets are available here today.  We would love to see you there

Our Workshop will be held Saturday, November 6th.  The presentations will be with CPC, CTF, PI and Treatment Facilities.  This event will take place at the First Presbyterian Church in Millville.

Our District has experienced some interesting challenges since we last met in May.  There is a desire to split the District that prompted an emergency District meeting with the Area Panel and Policy and Charter in attendance on July 8th.  Thank you Area 45 Panel and Committee for attending this meeting.  Your presence was extremely helpful.  No split was made that evening.  The District will meet again on August 19th to continue our discussion and come up with ideas to reach a solution.  I have experienced real strength and unity amongst the members in our fellowship.  I will keep you abreast of this matter.

          The treasury is: $454.06
